'House' star Lisa Edelstein pose naked for PETA

The 44-year-old actress, who played Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the hit US TV show "House" is the latest star to get naked for PETA -- stripping it all off to pose with a ton of vegetables for a "Eat Green to Go Green" ad.

Edelstein believes going vegetarian is a "really important part of what we need to do to help the environment." She hopes others give it a try ... even if they can't commit to giving up meat 24/7.

"I like to encourage people to become a vegetarian once a week," she said. "That makes such an enormous impact for the whole world."

The picture, which features the slogan 'Eat Green To Go Green', shows off Lisa's incredibly toned figure, which she credits to not eating meat.
