Nollywood actress Toyin Adegbola honoured with Chieftancy title

Oluwatoyin Oluwaremilekun Adegbola, popularly known as Toyin Asewo, recently added another feather to her cap, as she was on Saturday, March 17, 2012 honoured with a chieftancy title. The 50 year-old actress is now the ‘Otun Yeye Oba’ of Iroko land in Oyo state.

Adegbola, who in 2009 celebrated her 25 years of acting was full of smiles as she thanked the King and people of Iroko land for their gesture and appreciation of her good work and the Yoruba movie industry as a whole.

The event was well attended by indigenes of Iroko land as well as friends and colleagues of the actress.
