Madonna's latest album topped the UK charts yesterday, setting a new record for the most number one albums by a solo artist.
The 53-year-old celebrated her 12th chart-topping album with MDNA, beating Elvis Presley's record of 11.
The dance music album has already sold more than 39,000 copies and is also on course to top the US charts.
Its title - an abbreviation of Madonna's name - drew criticism from anti-drugs campaigners in January because of the similarity to class-A drug MDMA, a form of ecstasy.
