Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina secretly engaged to her mother's 'adopted son', Nick Gordon

She appears to have found happiness again in the wake of her mother's death after it was reported yesterday that she was engaged.

But now Whitney Houston's mother Cissy has come forward to blast the singer's daughter Bobbi Kristina over her romance with the star's secret son Nick Gordon. Despite the pair not actually being blood relatives, Bobbi and Nick grew up together after Whitney took him in at the age of 12 when his father went to prison and his mother was unable to take care of him.

However, Cissy said that Bobbi and Nick's romance still constitutes wrongdoing, telling TMZ: 'What they're doing is incestuous.'

Cissy is also quoted as telling the website that she believes Nick is taking advantage of Bobbi and her issues.

It is claimed that Cissy has even requested that the Whitney Houston Estate get involved in an attempt to get him evicted from Whitney's $1.2m Atlanta townhouse, where he is apparently currently living alongside Bobbi.

It was reported yesterday that Bobbi, 19, is secretly engaged to 22-year-old Nick.

A family friend told America's Star magazine: 'Nick proposed to Krissy on March 10, and she said yes.' 'Krissy said Nick is the only person she trusts in the world. They have a very deep connection.'

Star says the couple are keeping the news quiet for now - but quotes other sources expressing concern and suspicion at the time of the proposal.

'Everyone is worried that Nick is looking to take advantage of Krissy,' a friend told the publication, referring to the $10m Bobbi is set to inherit from her late mother.

Bobbi and Nick were apparently spotting kissing and holding hands together last Friday outside a Target store in Johns Creek, Georgia, according to Hollywoodlife.com.
Nick added fuel to speculation about their relationship status when he tweeted last week: 'Yea we got a little closer and what!!!'
