Mariah Carey shared good news on Twitter: her husband, Nick Cannon, is in stable condition after his recent 'mild kidney failure'.
Carey tweeted: 'Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he'll be discharged within 2 days. As always he's laughing and in good spirits.'
Carey also posted a photo of herself kissing the America's Got Talent host as he reclined in his hospital bed, surrounded by balloons and flowers.
Yesterday Cannon, 31,was transferred from a medical facility in Aspen, Colorado, to one in the couple's hometown of Los Angeles.
'Getting back to business,' he tweeted.
Nick was clearly in better spirits as he also posted a photo of him having a haircut in his hospital room and posted party plug for his friend (and Tom Cruise's son), DJ Connor Cruise.
It would appear that the some-time rapper was preparing for surgery as shortly afterwards he tweeted: 'Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. # OUCH'
The cause of Cannon's kidney failure is still unknown but a doctor may have had to remove or bypass a blockage in the urinary tract.
