Cindy Crawford bans her model daughter Kaia Gerber from wearing make-up

She may have starred in her first Versace campaign at the tender age of 10, but it doesn't look like Cindy Crawford's daughter will be growing up too fast. 

The 46-year-old beauty has banned her daughter Kaia Gerber from wearing make-up on photoshoots because she doesn't want her to appear older than she is.

Being of the world's original supermodels, Cindy explained she was happy for the youngster to enter the world of modelling, but was conscious of her being looked after properly.

She told the Daily Telegraph: 'I didn't want her to have make-up or be photographed looking older than she is.'

But her worries were cast aside when Kaia bagged her first campaign, because the shoot was being run by her friend, fashion designer Donatella Versace.

'I knew she'd be taken care of because it was Donatella,' she added.

Although both Cindy and her husband Rande Gerber enjoyed successful careers as models, the star has previously admitted she wants Kaia to give her career in front of the camera a rest until she gets a bit older.
